For the fall 2018 season, Columbia Ballet Collaborative welcomes Zhongjing Fang, American Ballet Theatre soloist; Silas Farley, member of New York City Ballet’s corps de ballet; Stefano Nappi, graduate of Teatro di San Carlo and New York-based freelance choreographer; Emily Schoen, Dance Magazine “Top 25 to Watch” artist and founder of Schoen Movement Company; and Eryn Renee Young, co-founder and resident choreographer of XAOC Contemporary Ballet. This season we are also continuing our choreographic mentorship program where student choreographer Kosta Karakashyan, a fourth year student at Columbia College, will create a piece with the guidance of former CBC choreographer Michelle Thompson Ulerich. We are also excited to introduce a new collaboration with Columbia’s Department of Music. Choreographer Emily Schoen will work with a fourth-year student in the Columbia Music Composition program, Simon Broucke, to create an original score for her new work.
Shows will be taking place Saturday, November 17 at 8pm & Sunday, November 18 at 3pm
