Bard Hall Players Present: Spring Awakening

  • CUMC Alumni Auditorium 630 West 168th Street New York, NY, 10032 United States (map)

Bard Hall Players is thrilled to announce our fall show, Spring Awakening!

Spring Awakening is a story of teenage self-discovery and rebellion in 1890’s Germany. We follow a group of adolescents, each struggling to navigate their new and complex feelings of sexuality and identity. Ashamed and silenced by their parents, churches, and teachers, they find their voices through electrifying rock & roll.

Directed by Morgan Firestein, Spring Awakening features students from P&S, Mailman School of Public Health, Narrative Medicine, the School of Nursing, and GSAS.

Content Warning: This show contains strong language and themes of sexuality, sexual violence, physical violence, and suicide. A prop gun will appear on stage. Audience discretion is advised.
